1 · POSITION

Maria Carita left Salardú with Rosy in the mid-1930s, built the Toulouse salon with her, and opened in Paris in the 1940s. The sources name the two together and never separate their work.

2 · WHY SHE IS IN THE LIBRARY

§21 records a house made by two people as having been made by two people. The register would otherwise carry a *grand maison* founded by a pair and credit one of them, which is the error this Library has corrected twice this week — with the Boucicauts and here.

3 · ⚑ WHAT IS NOT ESTABLISHED

As thin as her sister’s entry, and for the same reason: the sources treat the two as a single unit and record almost nothing of either individually.
