Andronis is the Santorini collection of the Andronis family, built over three decades from a first cluster of Oia cave suites into five hotels, a villa portfolio and a set of destination restaurants. Its houses — Andronis Luxury Suites and Andronis Boutique Hotel on the Oia caldera, Andronis Concept Wellness Resort and Andronis Arcadia on the island's northern crown, and Andronis Minois toward the south — cover more formats than any competing family group on the island. In April 2026 Andronis Concept joined The Set, connecting the family business to an international affiliation while ownership and operation remain Greek.
The brand
Andronis is family-owned and family-run, with the second generation now leading expansion. The collection divides into two registers: the classic caldera houses in Oia village, carved into the cliff, and the newer estate-scale properties — Arcadia and Concept — built on open land with space the cliff cannot offer.
Gastronomy and wellness distinguish the group from its Oia neighbours. Lycabettus, the cliff-edge fine-dining restaurant, and the Evexia wellness philosophy at Concept give Andronis products beyond the room and the view. The villa collection extends the brand into private-house stays.
Brand philosophy
Andronis treats Santorini as a complete destination rather than a viewpoint. The family's bet is that guests will stay longer if the island offers wellness, dining and space alongside the caldera — hence Arcadia's grounds, Concept's therapy-led programme and the restaurant portfolio.
Family continuity is the second principle. Decisions are generational: land assembled over decades, properties built rather than acquired, and an explicit intention to remain Santorinian rather than to franchise the name elsewhere.
What distinguishes it
Two Santorinis in one collection. Cliff-carved Oia houses and open-land estates give Andronis both the classic caldera product and the space-led alternative.
Wellness with clinical depth. Andronis Concept's Evexia programme goes beyond spa treatments toward structured wellbeing — unusual on the island.
Destination dining. Lycabettus and the wider restaurant group make Andronis a food destination independent of hotel stays.
The Set affiliation. Concept's 2026 membership links a family island business to an international quiet-luxury network without surrendering ownership.
Second-generation drive. The family's younger leadership is expanding formats while keeping the collection Santorinian.
Andronis is a weak fit for travellers seeking anonymity from the Santorini scene, budget flexibility in high season or a family-with-children resort product — the collection, like the island's luxury tier generally, is couple-centric. Guests wanting one consistent architectural product should also note the deliberate split between cave-suite intimacy and estate scale; the two registers feel like different hotels under one name.
