Volumes organise; they never renumber. An entry keeps its code wherever it is filed (§6.1).

333 of 365 entries carry their own article; 32 hold a code and a row and nothing more. That is the honest state of the Part, and a code without an article is still a permanent address — this page answers to it. Counts and order are read from register v60.25 at build time; they are not maintained here. The right column carries the year a house or brand was founded and the people in Part IX who anchor it; both are read from the pages the Library already publishes, so a row is bare where the Library does not yet hold the fact.
