Homa Hotels

1 · POSITION

Homa Hotels brings five Iranian hotels under one institutional identity: Tehran, Shiraz, Bandar Abbas and two separate properties in Mashhad. Its significance is partly that of continuity. Buildings with different origins and histories now participate in a domestic network whose accommodation, gardens and public rooms serve religious, commercial and leisure travel. [1]

2 · OWNERSHIP BEHIND THE NAME

The group's current presentation identifies Iran's Social Security Organization as its sole shareholder, with management through the organisation's tourism holding, Hegta. This locates Homa within a wider investment structure. The name on the hotel and the institution responsible for its capital are related, but describe different parts of the hospitality business. 3 · TWO MASHHAD HISTORIES

Homa Ahmadabad, also called Homa One, is explicitly identified by the operator as the former Hyatt. Its construction and opening belong to the 1970s. Homa Khayyam, or Homa Two, has a different history: the group dates its construction to the Iranian years 1371–1375, in the 1990s. They are distinct hotels, rather than successive names for one property. [2, 3]

4 · GROUNDS AS GUEST INFRASTRUCTURE

Both Mashhad presentations give weight to gardens and recreation alongside rooms. Ahmadabad describes extensive grounds and paths; Khayyam combines landscaped space with restaurants, a pool, conference facilities and family amenities. The garden is therefore more than a visual setting. It provides places to pause between city visits and allows several generations to use the hotel at different speeds. [2, 3]

5 · ⚑ CANDOUR

⚑ The group's Ahmadabad page gives conflicting dates for the property's return after renovation, so no precise reopening date is asserted here. Former Hyatt affiliation belongs to that hotel's history and does not establish present Hyatt management. Star classifications and claims of service quality remain the operator's descriptions; the corporate identity does not erase differences between the five houses. [1–3]
