Beaches Resorts

Beaches Resorts brought the Sandals all-inclusive proposition into family travel. Sandals Resorts International dates the first Beaches opening to 1997 and explains it as a response to guests wanting to share a similar holiday with their children. The brand's defining task is therefore coordination: several ages and interests must find a workable holiday within one resort. [1]

1 · POSITION

Beaches Resorts brought the Sandals all-inclusive proposition into family travel. Sandals Resorts International dates the first Beaches opening to 1997 and explains it as a response to guests wanting to share a similar holiday with their children. The brand's defining task is therefore coordination: several ages and interests must find a workable holiday within one resort. [1]

2 · SEVERAL HOLIDAYS AT ONE ADDRESS

Beaches Negril makes that proposition concrete through its beachfront setting, waterpark and children's activities involving Sesame Street characters. The resort supplies shared family experiences alongside attractions aimed particularly at children. Its organisation allows the holiday to move between time together and different activities, while accommodation and dining keep the group attached to one place. [2]

3 · INFORMATION HELPS A FAMILY CHOOSE

The brand's autism programme includes staff training and a sensory guide with ratings for activities. It also presents character experiences involving Julia from Sesame Street. These provisions add another dimension to family hospitality: preparation can involve understanding an activity's demands and deciding whether it suits a particular child, rather than assuming that every attraction works equally well for everyone. [3]

4 · THE PORTFOLIO CHANGES

Beaches' official Ocho Rios page announces closure on 31 May 2025. That property consequently belongs to the brand's operating history rather than an automatically current three-resort list. Negril and Turks and Caicos remain the named locations on the brand's autism information page. A family brand's continuity does not require its individual addresses to remain unchanged. [3, 4]

5 · ⚑ CANDOUR

⚑ “All-inclusive” should be read through the package and property concerned; the label alone does not establish that every optional service is included. Autism-related certification and information describe preparations and facilities, not a guarantee that every family's needs will be met. Published operating hotels, announced developments and closed resorts must remain separate when describing the collection. [1–4]
