Alba entered Raffles Doha's dining story under Enrico Crippa's name, connecting the hotel with the chef of Piazza Duomo in Italy. The historical name remains useful, but the restaurant's present identity needs a qualification: current Raffles material calls it Alba, and Michelin's Doha 2026 selection credits chef Cristhian Serraino with its first star. 2 · THE ITALIAN REFERENCE

Raffles' earlier description identifies Crippa as the curator of the menus, with Antonino D'Alessio and the on-site team bringing them to the table. That distinction separates the signature chef's contribution from the daily kitchen operation. The project offered a way to encounter his culinary approach within a Qatar hotel, without making the Doha dining room identical to Piazza Duomo. [1]

3 · NORTHERN ITALY IN LUSAIL

The current restaurant continues to present northern Italian cooking, seasonal produce and white truffles as its reference points. Its address is Raffles Doha in the Katara Towers, within Lusail's Marina District. The food therefore provides a particular regional identity inside a large international hotel setting. The restaurant's Italian name and ingredients anchor the proposition more precisely than a general label of European fine dining. [2]

4 · A TABLE WITH THE CHEF

Raffles now advertises a seven-course Chef's Table guided by Serraino, with courses prepared before the guests. This gives the current operation a concrete form: a smaller encounter focused on the person leading the kitchen and the sequence of preparation. Michelin's promotion in the 2026 edition belongs to this Doha restaurant, establishing a local milestone separate from the reputation attached to its original namesake. [2, 3]

⚑ The queue's historical title is retained for identification. Older Raffles pages still carry Crippa's name and a different kitchen team; current pages and Michelin identify Serraino.
