Serras Collection

Serras Collection grew from the Serra family's opening of Serras Barcelona in 2015. The group's own chronology dates the collection identity to 2020, making a distinction between the first hotel and the later platform for expansion. Its hospitality interest lies in carrying a small-hotel approach into settings whose buildings, landscapes and patterns of use remain recognisably different. [1]

1 · POSITION

Serras Collection grew from the Serra family's opening of Serras Barcelona in 2015. The group's own chronology dates the collection identity to 2020, making a distinction between the first hotel and the later platform for expansion. Its hospitality interest lies in carrying a small-hotel approach into settings whose buildings, landscapes and patterns of use remain recognisably different. [1]

2 · FROM CITY TO MOUNTAIN

The group took over management of Andorra's former Canaro hotel in 2021 and opened Serras Andorra in December 2022. This was the transformation of an existing establishment rather than the invention of a mountain destination. The move also widened the collection beyond the urban setting of its Barcelona origin into the Incles Valley near Soldeu. [1, 2]

3 · A FOURTH ADDRESS

Casa Serras followed in Andorra in 2025. By September 2026, Serras Sevilla had joined the collection; Europa Press reported its opening on 23 September. The new property occupies a historic building by Aníbal González facing Seville's cathedral. These successive openings show a group growing through particular addresses rather than one repeated architectural template. [1, 3]

4 · THE HOTEL MEETS THE CITY

The Seville account describes restored architectural fabric, interiors by Eva Martínez, a rooftop terrace and a ground-floor dining space intended for guests and local people. It also identifies the Fismuler relationship with Familia La Ancha. Hospitality is assembled through these partnerships and public rooms: the hotel participates in city life as well as accommodating visitors above it. [3]

5 · ⚑ CANDOUR

⚑ Seville is included on the strength of a published opening report, not merely the earlier advertised date. The report's publication date is not asserted as the first night of operation. The Andorra history establishes a management takeover, not necessarily a freehold acquisition. The company's heritage narratives and boutique positioning remain distinct from independent assessments of conservation or service quality. [1–3]
