MANTERA

MANTERA is not a conventional hotel chain. It is a Russian multi-functional hospitality ecosystem combining hotels, mountain resorts, theme parks, tourism, gastronomy, development, entertainment and destination infrastructure. The group says it was formed in 2021 by bringing major Russian resorts and visitor attractions into one ecosystem. By 2026 it reports more than 7,000 rooms, more than 9,000 employees, more than 14 business lines and roughly 7.1–7.2 million annual visits.

2021 — Creation of the Ecosystem

The defining date for the modern MANTERA identity is 2021. Many individual assets are older, but the master brand and cross-asset strategy are recent. This distinction is essential for LHL: MANTERA inherits mature destinations while building a new common architecture around them.

More Than Hotels

The ecosystem includes Krasnaya Polyana, Arkhyz, Sochi Park, Sochi Park Hotel, Mantera Travel, Château de Talu, Mantera Hotels, Mantera Supreme Seaside, Mantera Resort & Congress, Mandrogi and other tourism and development assets. The operating idea is ecosystem economics: sleep, ski, attractions, dining, spa, travel and loyalty increasingly reinforce one another.

Destination Ownership as Strategy

MANTERA's strongest structural distinction is control over destinations rather than rooms alone. Krasnaya Polyana and Arkhyz combine lifts, trails, accommodation, restaurants, entertainment and year-round programming. Sirius combines hotels, Olympic infrastructure, attractions and Black Sea leisure. MANTERA therefore competes partly as a destination platform.

Mantera Hotels — Management Layer

Mantera Hotels is the hotel-management layer inside the ecosystem. MANTERA also manages destinations containing international flags such as Marriott, Rixos, Mövenpick, Novotel, Courtyard and ibis Styles. LHL should distinguish MANTERA-owned or self-branded hospitality from third-party brands operating inside MANTERA destinations.

The Luxury Turn

MANTERA has made the upper price segment a strategic priority. In 2025 group leadership publicly argued that competition in tourism would increasingly take place in luxury and identified premium infrastructure as a growth driver. Mantera Supreme is the clearest physical expression of this strategy.

Mantera Supreme — The Flagship

Mantera Supreme Seaside is the luxury flagship. It opened to first guests in December 2024 and ceremonially opened its first tourist season in April 2025. MANTERA described it as the first comparable luxury property in Russia under a domestic brand.

Sirius and the Black Sea Cluster

The hotel stands on the first coastline of the Sirius federal territory beside Olympic Park. It completed a major resort cluster exceeding 100,000 sqm and is integrated with club residences and wider leisure infrastructure. The proposition is hotel plus resort district.

400 Designer Rooms

Mantera Supreme has 400 rooms. Categories range from 30–35 sqm Deluxe rooms to Studios, Premium rooms, multiple Luxury suites, a 188 sqm Presidential Suite and a 215 sqm Penthouse. Several upper categories have private pools and terraces.

Penthouse and Upper Suites

The 215 sqm Penthouse has three bedrooms, living room, kitchen area for a personal chef, panoramic terrace and private pool. Upper suites receive personal butler service, transfers and M Club Executive Lounge access, creating a genuine high-luxury layer above the standard room product.

M Club and Personal Service

M Club is a gastronomic privilege space for selected upper-category guests. Butler service applies to Grand, Supreme, Mantera, Presidential and Penthouse suites. These elements move the flagship from physical luxury toward differentiated service architecture.

Rest as Art

The flagship phrase is Rest as Art. Contemporary art, design and curated interiors are part of the identity. Mantera Supreme became a special partner of the exhibition 110 \| Russian Design 1915–2025, organised by the Moscow Design Museum and State Tretyakov Gallery.

Russian Design as Brand Capital

Contemporary Russian design gives the young domestic luxury brand a potentially defensible cultural identity. Rather than copying European palace codes, the hotel can build legitimacy through Russian sculpture, painting, architecture and design.

Water as Resort Infrastructure

Mantera Supreme has eleven pools and more than 5,000 sqm of water surface. Eight pools use seawater drawn from the Black Sea at depth. Marine water therefore becomes a defining piece of resort infrastructure.

Mantera SPA

The two-level Mantera SPA combines pools, thermal facilities, beauty, fitness and eight treatment rooms. Facilities include a 25-metre wellness pool, Russian bath, Finnish sauna with Himalayan salt, hammam, experience shower and real-snow room.

Wellness and the Sea

Mantera SPA combines modern beauty technologies with the healing power of the sea. Marine ingredients, premium European and Japanese cosmetic lines, massage, cosmetology and hardware techniques create contemporary resort wellness rather than a medical-clinic model.

Gastronomy at Supreme

The hotel reports eleven restaurants and bars spanning seafood, Caucasian, Japanese and signature cuisine. The venues are intended to function as individual gastronomic destinations, attracting external guests as well as residents.

Destination Dining

The fine-dining concept Le Ri is one expression of the hotel's destination-dining ambition. A 400-room luxury resort needs restaurants with identities strong enough to avoid feeling like a closed hotel complex.

Family Luxury

Mantera Kids, children's pools, beach and broad resort infrastructure make Supreme strongly family-capable. The model aims to keep affluent families inside one ecosystem without forcing a choice between adult luxury and family convenience.

Meetings and Events

The conference centre accommodates approximately 1,320 guests. This creates a major MICE dimension and a challenge: large event flows must coexist with the atmosphere expected from a luxury resort.

Mantera Residence

The flagship forms part of an elite complex that also includes club residences. This places MANTERA in branded-residential and resort-real-estate economics, with hotel services supporting transient guests and property owners.

Mantera Resort & Congress

Mantera Resort & Congress 5* is the other major self-branded Sirius hotel. The group describes 508 rooms, a 30,000 sqm site, four dining outlets, four pools, private beach and a 10,000 sqm congress centre. Its mission is broad family and business resort hospitality rather than Supreme's flagship luxury.

Two Sirius Hotels, Two Missions

Supreme focuses on design, art, personal service, spa and upper-suite privileges. Resort & Congress is a large-scale five-star family and events platform. The distinction gives MANTERA two premium missions within one coastal destination.

Krasnaya Polyana Resort

Krasnaya Polyana is a major mountain asset whose infrastructure includes internationally branded hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, lifts and entertainment. MANTERA's role is broader than hotel management: it manages the destination in which multiple brands operate.

International Brands Inside MANTERA

Krasnaya Polyana includes Marriott, Rixos, Mövenpick, Novotel, Courtyard, ibis Styles and other recognised brands. The hybrid model allows MANTERA to own destination infrastructure and customer touchpoints while international hotel brands retain their identities and loyalty systems.

Arkhyz — Expansion Platform

Arkhyz is the second major mountain resort. MANTERA plans development through 2030 with new accommodation, lifts, pistes and premium zones. Dukka village is explicitly aimed at a premium audience, extending the luxury strategy into mountain development.

Mountain Synergy

Krasnaya Polyana and Arkhyz launched a unified seasonal ski pass in 2025. This demonstrates ecosystem logic: separate destinations gain value through cross-access and shared services.

Sochi Park and Entertainment

Sochi Park is a major traffic generator with more than 1.5 million annual visits cited by the group. The theme park, Bogatyr Castle Hotel and nearby accommodation show that MANTERA includes entertainment-led tourism as well as conventional resorts.

Mantera Travel

Mantera Travel is the tour-operator and distribution layer, selling hotels, excursions and transfers. It also provides the digital account used for the unified loyalty programme, making distribution part of the ecosystem.

Château de Talu and Gastronomy

Château de Talu winery extends MANTERA into wine and gastronomy. In ecosystem terms it can support experiences, events, food-and-beverage storytelling and cross-selling.

Mandrogi

The Amazing Village of Mandrogi in the Leningrad Region broadens MANTERA beyond the Black Sea and Caucasus and represents cultural/rural destination hospitality.

Unified Loyalty Programme

MANTERA announced a unified loyalty programme in November 2025, tested it from December and planned full launch for April 2026. The live 2026 programme allows guests to earn bonuses and spend them on future travel, dining and guest privileges. One bonus equals one ruble.

From Fragmented to Ecosystem Loyalty

Individual assets already had programmes; Krasnaya Polyana alone had approximately 425,000 registered members. The unified architecture is designed to connect hotels, ski passes, restaurants, excursions, attractions and other services.

Status Architecture

The current programme lists five Russian status levels, transliterated as Gost, Tsenitel, Znatok, Ekspert and Legenda. Higher status increases bonus earning. For LHL this is a genuine Brand loyalty programme, not merely a booking discount.

Loyalty as Data Infrastructure

MANTERA explicitly links unified customer databases with analytics, pricing, promotions, personalisation, repeat business and lower acquisition costs. Loyalty therefore becomes customer infrastructure across multiple hospitality categories.

Scale of the Ecosystem

The group cites approximately 7.2 million annual visits, 7,000+ rooms and 9,000+ employees; the current homepage shows roughly 7.1 million visits and more than 14 business directions. Minor differences reflect reporting periods.

Unified Digital Contour

MANTERA describes a unified digital contour centred on the guest. Booking, loyalty, attractions, hotels, excursions and destination services can increasingly be connected through one customer relationship.

Service Philosophy

Corporate language combines emotional experience, advanced service technologies, aesthetics, environmental awareness and health. At Supreme, this becomes butlers, M Club and highly differentiated suite privileges. The wider challenge is consistency across radically different assets.

Sustainability

MANTERA includes environmental responsibility in its corporate positioning, but sustainability should be assessed asset by asset. Ski development, marine resorts, large hotel clusters and theme parks create different environmental pressures.

A Russian Luxury Platform

Mantera Supreme matters beyond the individual hotel. MANTERA presents it as a Russian-brand luxury flagship and publicly identifies upper luxury as strategic. If durable, the model could evolve into a domestic platform for Russian-owned luxury hospitality standards.

Luxury Positioning

MANTERA spans mass attractions, midscale and upscale accommodation, international branded hotels, five-star resorts and a genuine luxury flagship. It is not a uniform luxury chain. LHL classification: Russian Integrated Hospitality & Destination Ecosystem with an Emerging Luxury Hotel Platform led by Mantera Supreme.

What Distinguishes MANTERA

ECOSYSTEM, NOT CHAIN. Hotels are only one layer.

DESTINATION CONTROL. Krasnaya Polyana, Arkhyz and Sirius create depth beyond rooms.

MANTERA SUPREME. A Russian-owned 400-room luxury flagship.

ART + DESIGN. Contemporary Russian design supports the flagship identity.

MARINE WELLNESS. Eleven pools and seawater infrastructure distinguish Supreme.

MOUNTAIN + SEA. Major coastal and alpine leisure systems coexist.

UNIFIED LOYALTY. Hotels, travel, dining and attractions increasingly connect through bonuses.

7,000+ ROOMS. Scale creates substantial distribution power.

What the Model Does Not Solve

Breadth is the greatest challenge. Sochi Park Hotel, a Marriott at Krasnaya Polyana, Arkhyz, Mandrogi and Mantera Supreme cannot share one identical service promise. MANTERA needs a clear hierarchy between ecosystem brand, hotel-management platform and luxury hotel brands. The umbrella also dates only to 2021 and Supreme to 2024–25, so long-term luxury credibility is still being built.

Competitive landscape

MANTERA has few direct hotel-chain comparables because its structure combines destination ownership, hospitality management, attractions and development. At the flagship level, Mantera Supreme should be compared with leading independent and internationally branded Russian luxury resorts rather than with the group's own mass-market assets. At ecosystem level, the closer comparison is an integrated destination developer/operator rather than a conventional hotel brand.

Loyalty Classification

For LHL the correct loyalty classification is Brand — MANTERA unified loyalty programme. The programme is ecosystem-wide rather than purely hotel-based, uses bonus currency at 1 bonus = 1 RUB and status progression, and is designed to expand across key MANTERA assets.

Editorial Note

This entry reflects official MANTERA, Mantera Travel and Mantera Supreme information reviewed in August 2026. MANTERA states that the unified ecosystem was formed in 2021. Current corporate metrics exceed 7,000 rooms and 9,000 employees with roughly 7.1–7.2 million annual visits. Mantera Supreme first welcomed guests in December 2024 and formally opened its first tourist season in April 2025. The unified loyalty programme announced in late 2025 is live in 2026 and represents a material change from earlier property-specific loyalty systems.
