1 · Position
Sea Breeze is Agalarov Development's largest project: a resort city on the Caspian coast about twenty minutes from Baku, with millions of square metres of commercial and residential property across hundreds of hectares, delivered in stages.
2 · ⚑ Why the Library holds it beside Crocus
Aras Agalarov was born in Baku in 1955 and built his business in Moscow. Sea Breeze is the same developer returning to the city he came from and building there what he had built outside Moscow — and the Library records the pair together because a career that runs Baku → Moscow → Baku is the kind of thing a register of houses is placed to notice and an architectural guide is not.
3 · Candour
⚑ This entry is thin. The founding date, the exact scale, the hotels within it and the current state of construction are not established here, and the entry says so rather than repeating the developer's figures as fact. What is stated above — hundreds of hectares, millions of square metres — is the developer's own description.
