1 · POSITION
Uzbekistan Airways cooks its own food. Ketring Limited Liability Company is described on the airline’s corporate site as a structural subdivision of Uzbekistan Airways JSC, working from the Sergeli district beside Tashkent airport with 150 pieces of technological equipment. Preparation begins a few hours before the departure of the aircraft, and orders pass through an operational dispatch before they are distributed to the workshops. The hospitality of this carrier therefore begins in a building it owns rather than in a contract it signs. [1]
2 · THE TABLE AS THE AIRLINE DESCRIBES IT
Business class passengers are offered a choice of dishes from a diet developed by Ketring specialists, with meat, fish and poultry among the options. The Uzbek dishes are built around dried fruits, nuts, greens and vegetables, and the page states that branded samsa is served only on Uzbekistan Airways flights. Special meals, vegetarian and kosher among them, come from the same kitchens. Some dishes for certain return routes are deep frozen, which the page defends as a natural way of extending shelf life. [1]
3 · THE CABIN RENEWED THROUGH A SUPPLIER
The objects came from Kaelis. In December 2019 the supplier refreshed the business class tableware for medium- and long-haul flights, a fourteen-piece crockery collection with soft linens and a dark tray drawn from the region’s traditional buildings and architecture. A quilted purple duvet followed, reported on 10 March 2020. In January 2026 an economy collection was added: the Briss Bowl, the Muno Bowl and the Tuan Main Plate, the first frosted with Uzbek cultural motifs and rated to 250 washing cycles. [2, 3, 4]
4 · THE KIT ISSUED IN DECEMBER 2025
The business class amenity kit was reissued in December 2025. It holds reusable slippers with a fabric shoe bag, a sleep mask, a comb that doubles as a mini massage brush, earplugs, a toothbrush and toothpaste set, and travel-size hand cream and lip balm from the Munich house Aigner. The slippers were given thicker soles and the mask a softer fabric with an adjustable elastic band. Colour follows sector length: blue and burgundy on long-haul, grey and black on medium-haul. [3]
5 · ⚑ CANDOUR
⚑ Nothing here establishes the seat. No page fetched for this entry described the business class seat, its pitch, or whether it lies flat, and the widebody and narrow-body cabins are not the same room. The catering account is the airline’s own description of its own subsidiary, including the claim that branded samsa is served on its flights alone. The 2019 and 2020 items are trade reports and no page confirmed they remain in service. The Tashkent lounge could not be dated. [1–4]
