Tashir

Tashir is a Moscow-based construction and property group. Its president's page states that Samvel Karapetyan "In 1999 … founded a company" which grew into Tashir Group; Wikipedia gives his birth as 18 August 1965 at Kalinino, now Tashir, in Soviet Armenia, and his move to Russia in 1991. Business Online, on 19 June 2025, described the group as more than 200 companies whose core is retail property under the RIO brand, with 1.1 million m² of shopping space. [1,2,7]

Hotels Inside A Property Group

Hotels are a small part of that estate. Business Online lists five: three in Moscow, the best known Novotel Moscow City, and one each in Tula and Kaluga. A Tashir release of 2014 says its management company then ran five of the group's hotels in Moscow, Yaroslavl and Kaluga. The two lists do not match. [5,7]

SK Royal Moscow

On 25 August 2010 Tashir announced the "commissioning of its four-star SK Royal Hotel in Moscow", at the crossing of the Dmitrovskoe Highway and the Moscow Ring Road, about thirty minutes from Sheremetyevo. It has 160 rooms in five categories "covering 35 to 120 sq m" and a conference centre of five halls, beside the group's RIO mall. Tashir called it "the 7th hotel project to be realized by the Group, and its first SK Royal network branded project". The group's fact sheet gives an investment of USD 50 million, about 20,000 m² and 25 storeys; Tashir was sole developer and manager. [3,4]

Yaroslavl, Tula, Kaluga

The brand travelled to regional capitals. A release of 13 October 2015 refers to the SK Royal Hotel in Yaroslavl, "opened in 2012", and to a comfort-class aparthotel of six buildings on the Kotorosl embankment, two of them due in 2017. In 2014 Tashir presented SK Royal Tula, a five-star business hotel of 150 rooms on seven floors, which it called the group's tenth hospitality project. A Kaluga hotel is named in both lists above. Editorial note — ⚑ The Tula release of 2014 says Tashir "presents" the hotel; no opening date was read, and it is not called open here. ⚑ Whether the 2017 Yaroslavl aparthotel was finished is not established by the sources read. ⚑ Yaroslavl appears in Tashir's 2014 list but not in Business Online's 2025 list; the reason is not stated. ⚑ Novotel Moscow City is attributed to Tashir by Business Online alone; no Tashir or Accor page read confirms it. ⚑ No source read gives the room count of the Kaluga hotel or the date Tashir took it. ⚑ Karapetyan's birth date rests on Wikipedia; Tashir's own page gives none.
