2 · THE DAY THE CABINS BECAME SUITES

On 30 March 2026 Atlas announced that, with effect from 2 April, all guest accommodation would be reclassified under a unified suite nomenclature. Three collections were set out: Signature, holding Adventure Ocean and Veranda suites; a new Concierge tier of Deluxe Horizon, Deluxe Veranda and Horizon suites; and Reserve, holding Journey, Discovery and Navigator suites. Concierge was to begin aboard World Navigator on 2 April, World Voyager on 18 April and World Traveller on 9 May 2026. [1]

3 · WHAT EACH TIER PUTS IN THE ROOM

Signature carries what the line calls its Always Included amenities, with 24-hour in-suite dining and premium beverages, a stocked minibar, L’OCCITANE bath products and binoculars for exploration. Concierge adds welcome canapés, a priority behind-the-scenes ship tour with a tasting, one bag of laundry a voyage, and savings on the boutique, the spa and premium Wi-Fi. Reserve adds butler service, expanded in-suite dining and complimentary laundry. Binoculars in the entry tier mark what the ship is for. [1]

4 · THE GUIDES ARE NAMED

Atlas sails expedition leaders and naturalists on its Antarctic and Arctic voyages, together with what it calls Cultural Expedition specialists: historians, artists and astronomers. Its Arctic announcement of 3 July 2025 names individuals rather than roles, among them Jonathan Zaccaria, a French spectrometry engineer turned polar guide with over a decade of experience aboard World Voyager, and Ekaterina Uryupova, who holds a doctorate in environmental sciences. Reporting at launch described SeaSpa by L’Occitane as the first L’Occitane spa at sea. [2, 3, 4]

5 · ⚑ CANDOUR

⚑ The April 2026 change is a renaming of accommodation categories announced by the line; the pages fetched do not say the rooms themselves were rebuilt. The figures of 196 passengers and 98 accommodations are World Navigator’s from 2021 and predate that renaming. The spa superlative is a claim carried in trade reporting at the ship’s debut, not a verified first. No founding year for the line could be established. Atlas Adventurer is scheduled to debut in 2028 and has not sailed. [1–4]
