Atlantis The Royal Residences makes permanent domestic life a distinct part of the Dubai resort complex. KPF's architectural account identifies 231 residences alongside the hotel's accommodation. The shared silhouette is therefore occupied in different ways: some people arrive for a stay, while others inhabit a home connected to the facilities and recognition of Atlantis. [1]

2 · SEPARATION WITHIN THE COMPOSITION

The architect describes hotel and residential components rising above a common base, with their own entrances, arrival arrangements and gardens. The stepped blocks create terraces and elevated outdoor spaces. This separation matters as much as the dramatic profile: residents require a domestic threshold even when the larger building is a highly visible destination for visitors. [1]

3 · A HOUSEHOLD'S SHARED FACILITIES

The residential facilities brochure lists a residents' pool and beach, an indoor lap pool, a gymnasium, lounges and concierge services. These spaces supply an intermediate scale between the private apartment and the resort. The owner can leave the home for exercise, company or assistance without entering the full public life of the hotel. [2]

4 · ACCESS HAS DISTINCTIONS

The same brochure offers access to hotel restaurants and bars while marking several residential facilities as chargeable. Its practical distinction is valuable: proximity to a resort does not make every experience part of the purchase. KPF's project sheet names Kerzner International and Investment Corporation of Dubai as clients, also locating the architectural commission beyond the consumer-facing Atlantis name. [2, 3]
