1 · POSITION

The cabin is a short-haul room furnished to be recognised rather than slept in. [1, 2]

2 · AN INTERIOR DRAWN FROM THE ISLANDS

The cabin was designed by LIFT Strategic Design. Business and Economy Class seats have been adorned with a soft abstracted design of the tropical Hibiscus flower, which the airline connects to conservation. The forward and rear walls carry an elegant gradient from yellow to blue, which the airline relates to tropical sun over the water. The cabin crew uniform introduced with the aircraft is a turquoise ensemble, its scarf and tie designed by the local artist Alyssa Adams. [2]

3 · THE TABLE AND THE TRAY

The airline describes gourmet cuisine with menus carefully selected to offer a blend of traditional Creole and international flavours, with wine and liqueur selections. Meal and cocktail trays release automatically from the seat. Entertainment is not built into the cabin: the seyStream platform carries films, television shows and games on guests’ personal devices, and the airline says all its international flights offer onboard streaming. The aircraft provides the power and the passenger provides the screen. [1]

4 · SALON VALLÉE DE MAI

The premium lounge has been named Salon Vallée de Mai and is located on the first floor, in the departure terminal of the Seychelles International Airport. It offers a selection of canapés with hot and cold beverages, baggage storage, shower facilities, baby changing facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi and cable television. It is open three hours prior to departure and during transit. The ground room is described in the same register as the cabin: a named place rather than a waiting area. [1]

5 · ⚑ CANDOUR

⚑ The airline page carrying the interior, the uniform and the designers shows no publication date in the copy retrieved, so this entry does not date the cabin’s introduction. The brochure holding the seat dimensions is likewise undated in its text. Everything described belongs to the A320neo and must not be read across the airline’s domestic aircraft. The quality of the cuisine and the character of the lounge are the airline’s own descriptions, not findings of this register. [1–2]
