Air France's La Première joins a private airport journey with an onboard suite, making hospitality extend across the boundary between ground and flight. Its recent development gives that proposition physical detail: a new airport experience in 2024, a new suite introduced in 2025, and a redesigned Paris lounge announced in July 2026. [1, 2]
2 · THE CABIN SEPARATES SITTING FROM SLEEPING
The 2025 suite combines a seat with a chaise longue that converts into a full bed. Four suites occupy the cabin on selected Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This arrangement distinguishes activities that a conventional seat has to absorb into one object, allowing sitting, dining and rest to receive more specific places within the passenger's private space. 3 · GASTRONOMY BEGINS ON THE GROUND
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the La Première lounge offers table service with menus designed by Alain Ducasse and his teams. Air France's 2026 account pairs this with a wine selection and dedicated spaces for rest and work. The restaurant is therefore part of the departure experience, giving the passenger a meal with its own setting before boarding. [2]
4 · A PRIVATE STAY INSIDE THE AIRPORT
The same account describes separately reservable suites adjoining the lounge, with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and outdoor patio. These provide a more complete withdrawal than a chair in a shared waiting area. Their relationship to the flight remains essential, but the facilities allow a short airport interval to take on several functions normally associated with hotel accommodation. [2]
5 · ⚑ CANDOUR
⚑ La Première is not a description of every Air France cabin. The new suite's deployment is aircraft-specific; the airline confirmed its Los Angeles introduction in September 2025. Ground suites are an additional reservable provision, not an automatic feature of every ticket. The documented culinary partnerships support an account of French hospitality without establishing the world's longest continuous airline relationship with national gastronomy. [1–3]
